Biology Vocab

All Biology classes

Students will be assigned 10 vocab terms every week.

This is a routine assignment. Terms will be available on classroom board and here.

Terms will be posted on Mondays and due on Thursdays. Work can be submitted early.

Late work policy: 10 pts off/day. Will not be accepted after 4 days. Weekends and holidays count!

Assignments can be turned in the classroom homework bin or emailed: dmelino@sbrsd.org

Standard & College Prep students – define vocabulary term. If you find more than one possible definition, select one that is related to science or current unit. Select a definition that makes sense to you.

HONORS students only – please define term AND use properly in a sentence

If your class does not meet on the day the assignment is due (due to rotation schedule or other interruption), turn in the following day.

Academic Integrity Policy:

Academic dishonesty – including plagiarism (which includes not citing sources), cheating on exams or quizzes, and copying classmate’s work (or allowing someone to copy your work) – will absolutely not be tolerated. All parties involved will receive a ZERO, written referral to office, and lose participation points.

This includes turning in identical work as another student.
