I double majored in Agriculture Education & Animal Science as an undergrad and continued to earn my Masters in Agriculture Education from North Carolina State.
I taught Agriculture classes at Jordan High School in Durham, NC for five years. My husband and I moved back north in 2011 to be closer to our family. We have two children along with a small farm.
I have extensive experience working with livestock, companion animals and exotics: tigers, lions, leopards, jaguars, caracals, servals, ocelots, wolves, lemurs etc…
I’ve also fostered 50+ dogs & puppies over the years.
I’m thrilled to be teaching at Mt. Everett and feel blessed to have such a wonderful group of students, faculty, and community to work with. I advise both the Mt. Everett FFA Chapter and the National Honor Society.
